Well, everyone wants to know how hard is it to find a diamond at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Not everyone will find a diamond but once you read this story you will want to go try for yourself. Are you looking for a quick get away this weekend? Do you live within a few hours driving time of south Arkansas? I would recommend a day trip to Murfreesboro, Arkansas and the Crater of Diamonds State Park. This is the only park where you can walk in, search for diamonds, and walk out with what you keep.

The best time to look for diamonds on the surface is after a rainfall. And believe me, we have had a lot of rain in Arkansas the last few weeks.
